Duke of Edinburgh 2024 Update

This year the Duke of Edinburgh's program has been a huge success, working alongside Westlands School we have taken over 40 students on two expeditions.  Locally to Doddington and further afield to the New Forest.  

Many Bronze DofE participants experienced their first camping trip after a fantastic day walking through the Kent countryside and map reading to get to their final destination.  The Silver students had the opportunity to spend three days in the New Forest, working together as a team and being completely independent.  These experiences give the opportunity for the participants to show their resilience and problem solving skills, while enjoying themselves in the great outdoors.

We are proud of all of our students, who were a pleasure to work with away from school grounds.
