Entrees Catering College is a new, purpose-built site in St. Michael’s Road, Sittingbourne which includes a commercial café. This allows our students to gain hands-on experience in producing all kinds of food and drink, as well as valuable customer service skills. Students will learn how to become qualified chefs through practical learning with tutorials, private functions and classroom based activities.
"Students should stay for 2 years to complete their Level 1&2 Diplomas in professional cookery. From here they can start in the industry with a quantified amount of subject knowledge. There is an option of adding a 3rd year which is more specialised. The catering lessons are broken down to 65% kitchen and 35% class room based learning.
All exams (written & practical) must be passed to achieve the Diploma. Practical tests can be a single dish or a multiple amount and your tutor will ensure you are given the best possible learning to achieve your full potential. Written exams are project and assessment based to ensure a quality understanding of the subject."
